Immune Defenses1
Vitamin D, D3, also known as "cholecalciferol" by scientists, is a fat-soluble vitamin with multiple functions.
Well known among the general public as part of the process of bone mineralisation1 , it is also important in the immune function2, particularly in the differentiation and proliferation of hematopoietic cells3.
In addition to a healthy, balanced diet, vitamin D supplementation can be useful, particularly when there is limited sunlight, such as in autumn and winter.
